Bingo update - Week 4

Week 4 Random bingo player winner:  Amoree Farnsworth

Let me know if you get BINGO and we will give out gift cards as long as they last!

Three roadkill in one day: Finally we can quit scouring the road for dead things. Last Sunday on the rural roads going to Columbia Falls we saw the cutest little spotted deer in the grass on the side of a trail, a squirrel belly up, a flat bird, and an even flatter little snake.

Meet someone from another country: Right after we got to a campsite at Devil Creek, another cyclist arrived loaded down. We got the last two sites available that night. We told the camp host that he could put his tent up on our site, but he wanted his own. Good thing, he turned out to be a French Canadian, and he had a man bun, ha ha. Stefan is from Quebec where he is a special ed teacher. He is doing a loop from Banff and back, this being the most southern part of his trip. Since he has summers off, he does a lot of shorter bike tours like this one. He is excited that his daughter has started joining him on some of them. He has as many bags as us, I think he is carrying a lot more food than us as his trip is a little more remote. Robert wasn’t sure if this counted for meeting someone from another country, but he struggled a little with English, so Bliss says it counts.

See wildlife: We spent that time in the forest and mountains and not a single bear, moose, elk, or mountain goat. We saw signs for all of them, not poop, just the yellow signs. Even a sign for fish crossing. On the prairie this week we have seen a herd of buffalo, a herd of wild horses, and an antelope. So we have decided to mark this one off.

Stay tuned for next weeks bingo items and winner!
