Bingo Update - Week 6

Bingo Update: We forgot one, from way back in Valier Montana.

Gas Station Gourmet Meal. We were beat by the end of the day. Robert wanted to go to the store and get a soda or something. Bliss wanted to go straight to the campground. Before we split up Bliss told Robert to get something for dinner because she was not cooking that night. The grocery store had just closed, 5:30. So at the gas station Robert found two taco pouches, garlic bread (which turned out to be super hard), and some overly glazed cinnamon rolls under the heat lamps. We thought we had a picture, but couldn't find it.

Rainbow: As we were leaving the Honey Hub in Gackle on Bliss’ birthday, the sky to the east was pretty clear, but there were dark storm clouds to the west behind us. Bliss saw a rainbow, her first birthday surprise (Robert planned it for her). We managed to stay ahead of the storm and only got a scattering of sprinkles.

Go through a road block: Leaving Moorhead, Mn we had to cut a few miles through a residential area to get to the highway. We came to a section of road that was completely torn up, with a road closed sign. We rode on grass and sidewalk parallel to the road. We got a few stares from the workers but no one said anything. Later, on the highway, we came to another road closed sign, with a detour. As we were contemplating going through it, a worker who was passed us in his truck turned back to tell us that it would be impossible to get through. So we took the detour. Our second one this trip. 

Tail wind all day. From Tower City ND to Moorhead Mn the wind was coming from the west. We had a couple small segments going north or south that caused a cross wind, so Robert doesn’t think it counts. As Bliss points out, the wind was pushing east the whole time, and we will rarely go straight in any one direction in a day. We were flying pretty quick down the freeway. So yes, this counts.

It seems that a lot of the bingo options still left are pretty bad for us. So we hope we only get the good ones for the rest of the trip.
